Wellwomen Information, a Womens Health Resource and Counselling Service, was established in 1983 by a group of women who wanted to reach out to thousands of other women. Twentyfive years later, Wellwomen Information and Sehatmand Aurat The Asian Womens Health Project based at Wellwomen Information continue to base their work on the principle of providing a safe place and time to support its clients in taking control of their choices, health and lives in a way that helps not only these women but also their families and communities.
